Customer onboarding automation
Customer onboarding automation means software runs the steps between a new customer's application and their first use: collecting details and documents, pre-checking them, routing approvals, creating records and sending the welcome. Corrplus builds this flow with n8n, AI models and your existing systems, while identity checks and compliance decisions stay with licensed providers and your team.

- Documents from new customers are scattered across email, WhatsApp and shared folders.
- Your team goes back to the same customer several times for a missing or unreadable file.
- The same customer details are typed separately into the CRM, the ERP and accounting.
- Nobody can see at a glance where an application is waiting.
- Some applicants give up because the process drags on.
- Showing an auditor who ran which check, and when, takes hours.
What waiting costs
Every delay raises the chance that a customer trying you for the first time walks away, and keeps your team chasing paperwork instead of serving clients. Scattered document records also leave gaps for audits and data protection.
Our approach
Map the flow
We write down every step from the channels applications arrive through to the account being live, who approves what, and why each document is requested.
One entry point
Customers send their details and documents through one web form or WhatsApp Business flow that will not submit with fields missing.
Document reading and pre-checks
AI models extract fields from uploaded documents and check them against the form and for legibility; anything doubtful goes to a person.
Records and welcome
Once approved, the customer is created in the CRM, ERP and accounting automatically, and the welcome message and first steps go out.
Monitoring and audit trail
Each application's status, the checks run and the approvals given are logged with timestamps.
What to measure
- Time from application to live account
- Share of applications returned for missing documents
- Application abandonment rate
- Manual handling time per application
- Time to prepare records for an audit
Our own products
We use the tools and checklists from client projects on our own products too.
All products →Where does onboarding slow down?
From the outside, registering a new customer looks like one process. Inside, it moves in pieces between several people and systems. Sales takes the details, operations asks for documents, accounting opens the customer account, and someone writes the welcome email. Work waits at every handoff, and the customer cannot see why.
In finance, insurance and payments, legal duties sit on top of this. In Türkiye, know-your-customer rules under MASAK (the Financial Crimes Investigation Board) and the BDDK banking regulator’s rules on remote identity verification set what must be verified and how. In the EU, anti-money-laundering rules play the same role. We do not interpret these rules. We build the checks your compliance team defines into the workflow as steps and log each one.
Manual process versus automated workflow
| Step | Manual process | Automated workflow |
|---|---|---|
| Collecting documents | By email and WhatsApp, scattered | One form or WhatsApp flow, warns on missing fields |
| Pre-check | Someone opens and reads every file | A model extracts fields and flags mismatches |
| Approval | Waits in an email thread | A task lands with the owner, reminders on delay |
| Creating records | CRM, ERP and accounting one by one | Once, after approval |
| Audit trail | Searched for in folders | Every step logged with a timestamp |
The point is not to take the decision away from people. It is to put a complete, pre-checked file in front of the person who decides. Every approval that carries risk stays with a human.
How we start
In the first call we follow a few recent applications through your process together. Then we pick the two or three steps where work waits longest and build the first workflow. n8n or Make usually carries the backbone, and LLM integration handles document reading and classification.
Where personal data is processed, how long it is kept and whether it crosses borders are settled during design with your legal counsel, under GDPR and Türkiye’s data protection law, KVKK. Onboarding is a good first process in a wider workflow automation programme, because customers notice the difference straight away.

Frequently asked questions
Does onboarding automation meet our KYC obligations?
Automation does not meet obligations by itself. It makes sure the checks your compliance team defines run in the same order on every application and are logged. Which checks you need is decided by your compliance team and legal counsel under the rules that apply to you.
Do you do remote identity verification?
Identity verification itself is done by licensed providers. We connect their services to your workflow and carry the result into the application record and the approval step.
Which systems does it work with?
Most CRMs and ERPs with an API: HubSpot, Salesforce, Zoho, and Turkish ERPs such as Logo, Mikro and Netsis. On the customer side we use a web form, the WhatsApp Business API or a customer portal.
Is customer data sent to an AI model?
Only the fields needed, and only in an environment you approve. If data must not leave a given jurisdiction, document reading can run on open models hosted on your own servers. That decision is written down during design.
Is this only for financial companies?
No. Any company that registers dealers, suppliers, business clients or subscribers has the same problem: collecting documents, checking them and creating records in several systems. There are fewer legal checks, but the workflow is built the same way.
