Finance and insurance
In finance and insurance, AI pays off in document-heavy, rule-bound work, but only when it is auditable. Corrplus builds onboarding and document check automation, claims and application file analysis, credit risk scoring and internal regulation assistants for factoring, leasing, insurance and brokerage firms in Türkiye, designed to fit KVKK (Türkiye's data protection law), Turkish sector regulators and GDPR.

- During onboarding, IDs, tax registration certificates, trade registry documents and authorised signatory lists are checked by hand.
- Claims files, credit applications and contracts run to hundreds of pages; analysts spend most of their time reading.
- Turkish regulators such as BDDK (banking), SPK (capital markets), MASAK (financial crimes) and SEDDK (insurance) expect explainability and record-keeping.
- Legacy core systems have no API, so data is copied from screens by hand.
- Keeping up with internal procedures and regulatory changes, and giving staff the right answer, keeps getting harder.
Where it helps
- Onboarding automationA workflow that extracts fields from uploaded documents, flags missing or inconsistent data and prepares the file for compliance approval.
- Claims and application file analysisDocument analysis that produces a summary and checklist from expert reports, invoices and correspondence, leaving the decision to a specialist.
- Credit risk scoringA model that produces an explainable risk score from financial statements and payment history and records the reasoning for each score.
- Regulation and procedure assistantA RAG assistant that answers from internal policies, circulars and product documents with sources, with access limited by role.
- RPA for legacy systemsBots that handle reporting, reconciliation and data entry on core systems without an API and log every step.

All products →What makes AI in finance different?
In finance and insurance, an AI output can affect someone’s money or rights. Speed is not enough; you must be able to explain how an output was produced and audit it later. Our approach is to build the model not as a decision-maker but as a helper that puts organised information in front of a specialist.
The fastest results usually come from documents. Onboarding files, claims paperwork and credit applications are what analysts spend hours reading today. Extracting fields, flagging inconsistencies and preparing summaries speeds up the work without changing who decides.
In Türkiye, documents often arrive as scanned PDFs, photos or printouts from e-Devlet, the government services portal. Rule-based systems struggle with that variety. Language and vision models read it better, but every extracted field should carry a confidence value and low-confidence fields should go to a person.
Which task needs which control?
| Task | Role of AI | Required control |
|---|---|---|
| Onboarding | Read documents, flag inconsistencies | Compliance approval, audit log |
| Claims file | Summary and checklist | Loss adjuster and claims specialist decision |
| Credit assessment | Explainable score | Model documentation, version tracking, human decision |
| Regulatory questions | Sourced answer | Role-based access, citations |
| Legacy system work | Data transfer by RPA | Step-by-step activity log |
In every row the decision stays with a person and a traceable record is produced. Internal audit and regulatory reviews need this structure anyway.
Governance and compliance
We start AI projects from governance as much as from technology. Which data is used, where the model runs, whether data leaves the country and how results are monitored are written down during design. We assess KVKK, Turkish sector regulation and, for EU customers, GDPR and the EU AI Act together with your compliance team and legal counsel. We do not give legal opinions; we build the technical design to match them.
See our security, compliance and data ethics page for more. To begin, we suggest a discovery call scoped to a single process.

Frequently asked questions
Does the AI make the credit decision?
No. The models we build produce a score and its reasoning; an authorised person decides. Every score is logged with the data and model version that produced it.
Can our data go to a language model hosted abroad?
That depends on the regulations and outsourcing rules your firm is subject to. We review options such as on-premises models, masking and region-pinned services with your compliance team and legal counsel.
How does this relate to the EU AI Act?
Credit scoring of individuals is listed as high-risk under the EU AI Act. If you serve EU customers, we design documentation, human oversight and logging with that in mind, alongside KVKK and Turkish sector rules, and your counsel confirms the legal position.
